Lieutenant-Colonel Arthur L. Wagner. The Navy by Commander J. D.
Jerrold Kelley from a set of 43 illustrations Full page good
condition or noted .A series of prints illustrating the history
and the uniforms of the American Army and Navy, from the
American Revolution to the Spanish American War. The print shows
in detail the various types of uniforms worn by service and by
rank. The prints were issued by the Werner Company of Akron,
Ohio, and they were printed as chromolithographs so the colour
will not fade. The scenes are unusual in depicting military
action, with the troops attacking or being attacked rather than
the European 'stiff generals etc'. All are full page on a semi
card/ stiff paper .
