To Arthur Taylor Esq this plate of the tower of Roft Church is most respectfully dedicated by his obliged JS Cotman, Pl 37 By John Sell Cotman (Norwich 1782 – London 1842). Published drawings of Toft Monks church by J.S. Cotman 1814 paper seems to have been cream/buff ie not sunner edge tears to margin, loss margin corner but still 2 cm + margin some age soiling
