Henry Pelham
 (25 September 1694 -6 March 1754) was a British Whig statesman, who served as Prime Minister of Great Britain from 27 August 1743 until his death. He was the younger brother of Thomas Pelham-Holles, the Duke of Newcastle, who succeeded Henry as Prime Minister.The Gentleman's Magazine was a monthly magazine published in London in the 18th, 19th, and early 20th century. The magazine began publication with the January 1731 issue. Over time the magazine had various subtitles, including "monthly intelligencer" and "historical review". It restarted its volume numbering in 1868. It ceased publication in 1907. Size 21 x 12+ cm  £20 rarer dated 1754

William Russell, 1st Duke of Bedford KG PC (August 1616 -7 September 1700) was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1640 until 1641 when he inherited his Peerage as 5th Earl of Bedford and removed to the House of Lords. He fought in the Parliamentarian army and later defected to the Royalists during the English Civil War. He is also known for developing the Bloomsbury area of London.. Baron Russell (29 September 1639 -21 July 1683), was an English politician. He was a leading member of the Country Party, forerunners of the Whigs, who laid the groundwork opposition in the House of Commons of England to the concept of a reign of an openly Catholic King (James II) during the reign of King Charles II but ultimately resulted in his execution for treason, almost two years before King Charles died and James acceded to the throne.
